APARTMENT INTERIOR DESIGN

Kyiv, Ukraine

The client's assignment called for a studio, a bedroom, two children's rooms, a cabinet, three bathrooms and a dressing room on an area of 200 square meters. Nevertheless, after placing all the zones, the interior retained a sense of lightness and free open spaces.

We abandoned corridors in favor of flowing, transforming spaces. Each room is personalized, but integrated into the overall concept. Light partitions allow the interior to transform, opening and uniting rooms, or on the contrary - completely isolating zones.

In the living room area, the main finishing materials are porcelain stoneware from the Spanish brand Apavisa, used on the entire floor plane, wood and metal. The central element of the living room is the wall, finished with veneered panels and black sheet metal insert, where the fireplace and TV are placed. All personal belongings are hidden behind built-in fronts, which are perceived as wooden cladding panels, only the purity of the lines is revealed to the eye. A soft roomy sofa for the whole family is placed opposite. Light lines embedded in the ceiling set the rhythm and direction of movement deep into the apartment.

In this interior is used products of well-known on the world design manufacturers of furniture, sanitary ware, lighting. The kitchen is from the German brand Bulthaup. The dining room area uses items from the Dutch factory Moooi (table and lamp above it), as well as chairs Knoll International (Germany). The living room area is formed by the Arketipo sofa and Zanotta coffee tables (Italy).

When designing the interior of the apartment, great attention was paid to the night area, which consists of a bedroom and the adjoining bathroom and dressing room. This whole area is transformed and united into a single whole by using Rimadesio's wide sliding systems. There is nothing superfluous in the bedroom: the finishing materials are minimalist and restrained. Poured flooring is used as a floor covering, and the walls are lined with white MDF panels. The main accent of the room is the bed torn from the floor, located opposite the panoramic window overlooking Kyiv.

The electric lighting is integrated into the design of the apartment so that it is perceived as an organic architectural component.

Interior design of the apartment in Kiev is designed taking into account the latest technologies and developments of automation systems. Automated control systems allow you to change the light scenarios, based on the need to create a particular atmosphere of the space. With the help of an automated system you can change the brightness of lighting, control it by timer and time of day. The system operates in energy-saving mode, which helps to spend resources wisely and economically.

The project also provides for the possibility of microclimate automation. The climate control system allows to control the temperature in each room of the apartment. It regulates humidity, temperature and fresh air supply. There is also a possibility of manual regulation with the help of touch panels and mobile devices.

Due to the automation of the multimedia system you can control audio and video from any zone of the apartment. All the equipment is hidden in the server room.

In addition, the apartment project provides for all possible security systems: alarm system, protection against fire, water leakage and similar situations. You can get information about the current status of all subsystems remotely using smartphone.
