TINY APARTMENT DESIGN

Dnipro, Ukraine

The interior design of a tiny apartment in a new building in Dnipro was planned for a family of two. We aimed to create a solid, minimalistic living space with a well-thought-out layout that allows for efficient use of a small area.

The studio consists of two zones: a kitchen and a recreation area. We wanted to get rid of the usual utilitarian kitchen look, so we hid all kitchen equipment and accessories from view behind folding facades located along one wall.

The projection equipment for watching movies is also made in a hidden design: the screen, which is driven by an electric drive, is hidden in a light niche, the projector itself is lowered from the ceiling using a microlift. Such little details complement the minimalist approach of the tiny apartment's interior.

In designing a tiny apartment, an important task for us was to maximize the use of the space and visually expand it, so in order to widen the bedroom, the wide doors to the bathroom are made of transparent glass, while only the shower room remains open, the layout solution was designed so that all private are hidden from view.

The front wall of the bedroom is covered with natural stone and passes into the bathroom; a solid floor made of thermal wood also acts as a visual continuation that unites the spaces.

All engineering systems were designed in a hidden design, including ventilation, air conditioning and heating devices. Lighting fixtures are also hidden, which allows for soft, eye-pleasing artificial lighting.
